We had such a brilliant time! We filled our sketchbooks with delightful drawings and our tummies with a ridiculous amount of delicious food ....... so warmly welcomed by our hosts at San Michele too. Couldn't have been better. So much to be inspired by, lots to take in, so, .... hoping to go back again next year!!
We stayed at Grand Hotel San Michele, cliffside with panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. We visited the told town of Diamante famous for it's murals. We were spoilt with food, wine and views in the hilltops by Lorredana at her beautiful eco-house, walls made with natural materials and coloured with natural dyes. We were entertained by the hotel's pianist and staff. A stormy trip took us to Belvedere where we sketched the old town and views and historic church.
